Puppy Gates, Pens and Room Dividers
It is comforting to have your dog by you a lot of the time, but there are inconveniences when this can be perilous for example, when you are transferring food using scalding trays and boiling hot pans. If your puppy runs into the kitchen the hot liquid could burn your puppy. Prevention is always better than cure so the saying goes, and how absolute this is! If you ponder the same drama but this time have a puppy safety gate fitted on the kitchen door, then you and your dog would happy and safe.
Puppy gates are really good particularly in an open living area. Your puppy can visualize you and visa versa. These gates can be put in most areas of your house including the stairway. External gates can even be attached to keep your pet restrained if you want to keep the door open. It also keeps your dog inside if your planting in the garden.
If a pet gate is not good for you or your home, you could alternatively try a puppy play pen. These are very portable and can be moved anywhere. Although they are a square shape in which to retrain your pet with its toys, the positive side is, it can be transported into any room of the home or garden. You can even alter it to an L shape to cordon off your puppy into one safe area so your dog is not just within the dog pen itself.
Whatever option you choose always remember the saying, prevention is better than cure} and it can make your dog secure and delighted as they can still look at you and it can reduce the weight of very dear vet bills!
