Whenever you set up your own website you want to create publicity and attract as much traffic as you possibly can so that your website is worth its existence. This method works for many and I’m a witness to its benefits, however, there are those article directories that demand too much from contributors. I believe such websites should be avoided by webmasters.

 

I’m writing from experience and would not want to pay for posting an article to an article directory, which is what some internet marketers are doing to other webmasters. Be mindful of what you do with your money and your effort trying to build a lasting profile for yourself or even your website. If you are desperate for traffic, others will make attempts into your pocket. I always advice people to have an investment attitude when doing business online because success may not come as soon and as much as you put your effort into it today, but sustaining your efforts over an extended period of time makes success.  

 

Therefore be warned, some of those that think have it will attempt exploiting you.
